In this study, D-mannose was used to synthesize poly-D-mannose using a one-pot method. The molecular weight, degree of branching, monosaccharide composition, total sugar content, and infrared spectrum were determined. addition, we evaluated the safety bioactivity including anti-pathogen biofilm, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory activity. results showed that mixture four components with different weights. weight first three larger than 410,000 Da, fourth 3884 Da. branching 0.53. content 97.70%, composed only mannose. spectra possessed characteristic groups polysaccharides. Poly-D-mannose no cytotoxicity or hemolytic activity at concentration range from 0.125 mg/mL 8 mg/mL. had best inhibition effect on Salmonella typhimurium 2 (68.0% ± 3.9%).
